Gratitude

“We Be Chilln’ ” is just SO cosy. I love that tummy.

I have recently started a new job, so I have had very little time available, to check on this site.  The job has required a HUGE adjustment for me, because I have been UNemployed for a LOOOOONG time…. 

I don’t want to talk about that, now.

Some other time…

But I am so grateful that people just keep coming here.

Even though they visit old posts/old pictures, and leave without any comment…!

It’s still nice to know you have been HEARD, in some way.

Computer Cat

Hi! 

Had a good weekend – caring for 7 foster children, ages from 3 to 15.

Home now: thank heavens!

It reminds me of that saying about childbirth: when you’re there, you make a mental note: “I must not let this happen to me again!”…then afterwards, you only remember their sweet little faces, and you think how adorable they are…and you miss them!!

Wierd: The human brain! 

Anyway, it seems I’m still ‘on a roll’ with these funny cat pictures – still LOADS of visitors who turn up having searched for “funny cat pictures” or a similar search term – they leave no trace/no comments…but hopefully they ENJOY!

Well – the only trace they leave, is a dot on the (rather crowded now) map…and a blip on my stats graph…for which I am so grateful. People: please keep visiting.

But the WIERD thing is that they never seem to visit my current page – only various older pages. This week’s favorite (most visited) pages, have been Cloudy Sunday and … (hmm… can’t remember the other one.  (I’ll try to check again, and put the links in here.)

Later EDIT: The OTHER post, that is getting hits is The remainder of the weekend…(that’s the “rechargin’ kitten” – which *IS* terminally cute, I hafta agree…) You know, one thing I have often wondered is: how come cats are so smart, when they have such a TINY brain…?

Need a laugh?

I am in a bit of a quandary, because when I don’t post at all, my stats are great (relatively speaking)! So I almost hesitate to come to my own site, because everyone who visits seems to be happy, visiting just one or two specific older posts, and leaving no comments… so why mess with something that’s working?!?

However, I personally need some new laughs, so I am posting some, starting today.

I have been very busy with foster care (7 children last weekend), voluntary work, dance teaching, job interview, dance examining, and various changes at my house… so no time to visit, here.

I also have a cold, so I am feeling very sooky, so perhaps I will put up a comfort picture, as well as a funny one…
